Molars ("Molars", "the app", "we", "our") is a dental clinic management application and service. Dental clinics use Molars to run their practice — appointments, patient records, treatment, and billing. This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use, store, share, and protect it, and your rights.

مولارز ("مولارز"، "التطبيق"، "نحن") هو تطبيق وخدمة لإدارة عيادات الأسنان. تستخدم عيادات الأسنان مولارز لإدارة عملها — المواعيد وسجلات المرضى والعلاج والفوترة. توضّح هذه السياسة ما هي المعلومات التي يجمعها التطبيق، وكيف نستخدمها ونخزّنها ونشاركها ونحميها، وما هي حقوقك.

When a clinic enters patient information into Molars, the clinic is responsible for that information (the "data controller") and Molars processes it on the clinic's behalf (the "data processor"). Each clinic is responsible for obtaining any consent its patients require.

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, role, and sign-in credentials of the clinic owner and staff who use the app.
• Clinic and patient information entered by users: patient names and contact details; dental and medical records such as the tooth chart, case sheets, treatment notes, and clinical photos; appointments; invoices and payment records; and staff details. This information is entered by the clinic.
• Usage and device information: app version, device model, operating system, language, and diagnostic or crash data used to keep the app stable and secure.
• Subscription and license information.

2. How we use information2. كيف نستخدم المعلومات

We use this information to provide and operate the app (managing appointments, records, billing, and communication); sign you in and enforce the access permissions you set for your team; provide customer support; keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems; and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not use patient information for advertising.

3. WhatsApp messaging3. رسائل واتساب

If a clinic uses the WhatsApp feature, Molars helps that clinic send messages — such as appointment reminders — to its own patients through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta, subject to Meta's terms. Molars does not send marketing or bulk messages to people who are not that clinic's patients.

إذا استخدمت العيادة ميزة واتساب، يساعد مولارز تلك العيادة على إرسال رسائل — مثل تذكيرات المواعيد — إلى مرضاها فقط عبر منصة واتساب للأعمال المقدَّمة من Meta ووفقاً لشروط Meta. لا يرسل مولارز رسائل تسويقية أو جماعية إلى أشخاص ليسوا من مرضى تلك العيادة.

4. AI features4. ميزات الذكاء الاصطناعي

Some optional features use artificial intelligence (Google's Gemini) to help generate clinical suggestions. When these features are used, the relevant information is sent to the AI provider only to produce the result, and is not used to train publicly available AI models.

تستخدم بعض الميزات الاختيارية الذكاء الاصطناعي (Gemini من Google) للمساعدة في توليد اقتراحات سريرية. عند استخدام هذه الميزات، تُرسَل المعلومات ذات الصلة إلى مزوّد الذكاء الاصطناعي فقط لإنتاج النتيجة، ولا تُستخدَم لتدريب نماذج الذكاء الاصطناعي المتاحة للعموم.

5. How information is stored and secured5. كيف تُخزَّن المعلومات وتُؤمَّن

Information is stored on trusted cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase / Google Cloud). Data is encrypted in transit, and access is protected by authentication and the role-based permissions set within each clinic. Access is limited to the clinic's authorized users.

We do not sell or rent your information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run Molars — such as Google Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in, and storage), Meta (WhatsApp messaging), and Google (AI features) — and only as needed to deliver the service, or where required by law.

7. Data retention7. الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

We keep information for as long as the clinic's account is active. A clinic may request deletion of its data, and we delete or anonymize it after the account is closed, subject to any retention required by law.

نحتفظ بالمعلومات طالما بقي حساب العيادة نشطاً. يمكن للعيادة طلب حذف بياناتها، ونقوم بحذفها أو إخفاء هويتها بعد إغلاق الحساب، مع مراعاة أي مدة احتفاظ يفرضها القانون.

Clinics and their users may access, correct, export, or ask us to delete their data by contacting us. Patients who want to access or change their own records should contact their clinic, which controls that information.

Molars is a professional tool for dental clinic staff, who are adults. It is not directed to children. Patient records may include minors; those records are entered and controlled by the clinic.

Your data may be processed and stored on servers in other countries through our cloud providers, with appropriate safeguards in place.
